Verdell Jones III looked rusty in the season opener Friday after missing three weeks with an ankle injury. Sunday night, he looked much more like a player primed to have a breakout season. Jones scored 27 points, one off his career high, to lead Indiana to an easy 67-44 victory over Wright State before an announced crowd of 15,261 at Assembly Hall. Christian Watford, who had a career-high 24 points in Friday's season-opening 88-60 win over Florida Gulf Coast, came back with a double-double against Wright State.
