    Why not just keep Gray on the roster as #3?

    Teams are turning to 2 QBs so that they can carry an additional player. Can you recall the last time you've seen your 3rd string QB play because of injuries?

    If your team has a stable starting QB (in this case, Peyton), you really only need to carry a reliable backup...unless you have a young prospect you are also trying to develop.
