The Ottawa Senators have lost captain Daniel Alfredsson to a lower-body injury. "I'm not sure how long he'll be out -- it's not critical but he's not feeling well, so we'll keep him out for a bit," Senators general manager Bryan Murray told ESPN.com on the phone from Calgary. Alfredsson is hopeful that he'll be able to return to the lineup in less than two weeks for the reeling Senators, who have lost 10 straight. "I've been having a little bit of a problem the last few weeks especially," the veteran forward said Wednesday. "I was hoping the All-Star break was going to help me to go forward but the last two games, it hasn't been as good as I would have liked." The 38-year-old Alfredsson has 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in 54 games this season. Read more: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=6105448
