I'm going to Portland for Thanksgiving weekend. I'd like to see if anyone wanted to pimp out their favorite local store purveyor. Anything really, from good foods to serve at thanksgiving (any good dessert stores or pie shops? usually go to beaverton bakery)...to things like pens and small leather goods, etc.
Pix over on N Williams has a bunch of good dessert options. http://www.pixpatisserie.com/ There is a location over on Division too.
damn, might have to try this out: Big Cheryl's "Ghetto" Cake A dense, moist cake with a touch of orange and rum, and filled with pastry cream and mixed berries. There’s nothing “ghetto” about it except for the bad pronunciation of the French word “gâteau!”
any good leather goods store. looking for a passport cover, something kind of thin. my drivers license is expiring and I won't get my new one for a while (california takes like 4 weeks to get a replacement one) so gotta keep my passport on me.
Since you are so infatuated with the daddy chicken - the urban farm store is just the ticket. http://www.urbanfarmstore.com/
one of the poasters on a board I run does do that back yard chicken coup thing. pretty interesting stuff.
what's a good store I can buy some sage to burn at the RG? I might try to do it this time around. kind of low key, but when I go to the game burn some sage..like small incense style.
found these online. all look pretty awesome. will probably check out Winn Perry, been looking for a pair of Alden shoes. damn, that Canoe store looks awesome, reminds me of a Muji store.
