Interesting stat on UFC champions

    Fascinating stuff. The order of champs by this stat, is pretty much the order in which the champions are listed in dominance. Silva is considered the best, GSP 2nd and Penn 3rd (some would switch the two) Evans and Mir are not considered as good as the other 3.

    Machida... is better than all of them at not getting hit and Fedor is considered the best Heavyweight of all time and possibly the best fighter of all time.

    Makes sense... Franklin, Hughes, and Liddell were all probably among the hardest to hit in their day... I guess guys like Big Nog are the exception.

    I wonder if there is a ratio between hits landed and hits absorbed... we'd probably see similar results.
