I agree that overall Marbury has a warm heart and good intentions...he just never seems to win many ball games...and really doesn't do well publicly somehow (self-proclaimed Best PG in league, cheated Georgia Tech Basketball) I hear all this stuff about Marbury being a team cancer and all these teams going deep into the playoffs when Marbury leaves...hard to imagine New York suddenly becoming a perrennial playoff team if they trade Marbury, hehe. He also always gets great stats...great shooting percentage past two years, decent assist numbers...sigh...he's a mystery..

Just because he's a selfish player, doesn't mean he's a selfish person. The last 3 I knew already. The first 2 were nice to read.
Yea I agree with Chutney. Basketball and life are different. Marbury is actually a nice guy. But a sucky player.

Starbury is living proof that stats don't tell the whole story. He racks up assists so easily, but dominates the ball at times and could easily be one of the best distributors in the league.
