The pistons with their victory over the Celtics are now 16-13, not really impressive considering their the champs, but that's the record they had last year through 29 games. It makes you wonder about this season and what it holds for the pistons. They have a really favorable schedule in the last 2 months of the season. I think the pistons will solidify the no.2 seed in the east (miami #1). I maybe see Joe D pulling the trigger on a deal to get a pg. I expect them to reach the finals. As for beyond that I see a west team winning this year. But thats what every one thought last year.
Wouldn't at all surprise me but for the Pistons to do that they need to show alot more effort on the defensive end. There are still not playing hard. The schedule right now coming up should be farely easy to go on a big run and give them some confidence. Dumars does need another trade though and is trying to get a shooter from the sounds.
thanks for the stat, navyballer18. i think that many Pistons fans (including myself) expected the same dominating/intense team that we saw all through the playoffs and finals. there have been so many "extracurricular" distractions and setbacks that the team is now starting to develop continuity. i can't wait for Delfino to get back and give us some more scoring off our bench (LAST in the NBA in scoring.....pathetic). i'd also love to get another PG or scoring option for our bench. it'd be fantastic if Dupree can build on his last game and contribute 7-10ppg. our roster isn't filled with slashers, so Delfino and Dupree could be those slashers we're missing. in a weird way, i'm glad we sort of fell off the radar for a bit. if anything, this team has shown it plays well against adversity.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Cash-Money:</div><div class="quote_post">They will not go all the way again not with Miami doing waht they are doing.</div> Thats a terrible reason for saying Pistons won't repeat. All the Heat are right now are this month's flavour, they are playing well but I refuse to believe they will have enough to beat the Pistons in the playoffs when the defense tightens up and they get used to playoff type calls. BUT If Eddie Jones preforms along with the way Shaq and Wade are playing then the Heat could well beat the Pistons in a 7 game series, right now they are the best east team but the playoffs is a totally different game so anything could happen. As I mentioned If EJ is on his game then the Heat will be very hard to beat, more so with homecourt.
