Theres a report of an internet rumor(whatever that means) on Profootbaltalk.com that the Browns are close to a deal with the Broncos to acquire Jay Cutler. The deal would be Cutler + a 3rd round pick for Brady Quinn and Shaun Rogers. I dismiss most internet rumors are gibberish, but this one makes a little sense....Quinn was great for Charlie Weis in college, and McDaniels was once a protege of Weis in NE....further, the Broncos are converting to the 3-4 and need that big nose tackle to play that defense....we will see if we hear more, but this seems plausible....
Maybe its just me, but I just don't get the Cutler rumours. Sure he's been unclutch so far, but he's also a pretty talented young QB who's improving more each year.
Denver is getting the short end of the stick. Cuttler is better then Quinn and Rogers is a fat piece of shit.
Quinn played well in the Charlie Weis offense at Notre Dame. McDaniels runs the same offense, and is a student of Weis. Wouldn't be surprised if this went through.
