<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">From Damon Stoudamire to Jamaal Tinsley to Stephon Marbury here in New York, you've always placed a premium point guards who can make plays. How would you describe what you're looking for at the point?

Thomas: "A point guard is your quarterback. He has to be a leader with a winning mentality and have the ability to make all those around him better players. He has to lead your team in good times and bad. Steph has all those qualities."

In the New York Times, they reported you were interested in acquiring players like Jamal Crawford and Rasheed Wallace. Can you talk about this report and your ultimate vision for the Knicks' roster?

Thomas: "We are always looking to improve our roster in any way possible and will go wherever we can to do so. We have made some strides in that area but it doesn't make sense to speculate on speculation."</div>
