<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Ravens could begin meeting with coaching candidates tomorrow, a team spokesman said.

Rex Ryan, the Ravens' defensive coordinator for the past three seasons, will meet with Ravens officials on Sunday, a team official said. Ryan has been contacted by the Miami Dolphins about their head coaching opening, a Ravens official said. He is expected to meet with the Atlanta Falcons about their head coaching job, too.

The first candidates expected to be interviewed by the Ravens will be two Dallas Cowboys assistants, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and assistant head coach Tony Sparano; Indianapolis Colts assistant head coach Jim Caldwell; and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels

The Ravens have until Sunday at 6 p.m. to meet with assistants on playoff teams.

Also, a team official confirmed the Ravens will pay former coach Brian Billick for the final three years of his contract, which will total $15 million.</div>

Jason Garrett, maybe. As for the rest, they might as well just promote Rex.

Garrett is who I am leaning towards right now. But I'd be happy with either him or McDaniels.

I like Rex, but I would rather we hire someone new, rather than promoting someone. Just to get new blood in there. I'm also not so sure Ravens would hire him either even though they're interviewing him. Just the feel I get from what's been said and who they're looking at.

Well, McDaniels doesn't want to become a HC this yr, so he is out.

Ravens also plan to interview Rod Chudzinski OC of the Browns according to this article. Also, mentions Garrett and as well as Iowa HC Kirk Ferentz, who was a former assistant HC for the Ravens from '96 to '98.
