APPLE REPORTEDLY is gearing up to imminently release iOS 8.0.1, to squash bugs plaguing devices running iOS 8.

So says Macrumors, which heard that Apple had begun work on iOS 8.0.1 before last week's rollout of iOS 8 and has already released the update to network partners.
While Apple has yet to announce a release date, the report claims that iOS 8.0.1 will arrive "fairly soon" with a host of bug fixes on board.

iOS 8.0.1 reportedly will include a fix for the Quicktype keyboard, with users - including The INQUIRER - having moaned that this randomly disappears in the Messages app. According to Macrumours, this keyboard fix will also address "an issue with keypad not appearing to enter iCloud Keychain verification codes".
