- The Iowa Wolves rallied for a 115-100 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena in the 2021-22 regular season opener. Iowa (1-0), which trailed by as many as 19 points in the game, had five players finish in double figures. The Wolves were led by two-way forward Nathan Knight, who scored a game-high 31 points and added 13 rebounds for a double-double after being transferred from the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the day. Guard Leandro Bolmaro, who was assigned by the Timberwolves today, nearly recorded a triple-double with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Two-way guard McKinley Wright IV had 18 points, six boards and six assists. Sioux Falls (0-1) also had five players finish in double-figures paced by forward DJ Stewart, who scored 19 points. As a team, the Skyforce made 18 three--pointers. Iowa's comeback started in the third quarter behind a combination of three-pointers, tough defense and highlight reel dunks. The Wolves turned a 17-point deficit early in the quarter into a nine-point lead going into the fourth period. Guard Isaiah Miller provided a spark off the bench for the Wolves with 14 points, including 10 after halftime. Miller added four steals as the team's defensive pressure helped fuel the comeback. Rounding out the double-figure scorers was Chris Silva who tallied 10 points. The two teams will square off again Monday night at Wells Fargo at 7 p.m. CT. Iowa Wolves News Release
