I see people on facebook that will show a restaraunt or city that somebody is at. Like Bill Jones is at Red Robin in Kansas City, Missouri. With a little pin in a flag showing where. I heard that is an iPhone app. Anybody use this or know what I'm talking about?
my wife tells me (she's the facebooker) that if you have some option on facebook clicked on, and post from your iPhone in facebook, it will use the GPS locator to somehow post where you are. Account, Account Settings, Mobile
Yes. It's a new thing on Facebook mobile. I turned that option off. I dont want people knowing where I am at. I also saw a story on the news that a group of jackasses was using that info and breaking into their "friends" houses when they knew they werent home based on their facebook posts/locations.
