This is the show that the critics loathed but that the fans love, right? I vaguely remember liking the comic as a kid. But then the critics loved Daredevil and Jessica Jones and I got bored halfway through them, so... It's sad: I was a HUGE Marvel comics fan as a kid (in England, which was hard! We had to make do with black-and-white reprints!) so I would have LOVED all these Marvel comics movies back then (shit, I even went to see the Spider-Man thing that I think was a TV show in the US, but slunk into cinemas in the UK, that was incredibly shitty) but now it's too late for me.
For me the best Marvel Comics adaptation is probably the Venture Bros., and it's not even official Marvel Comics (their version of the Fantastic Four is perfect).
Did anyone else get a weird Star Wars vibe? The monks from Kung Lun or whatever that sound an awful lot like the Jedi.
I have never seen a super hero struggle so much with being super...... As in, his super power is pretty crappy. Luke Cage was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
...meh I liked the story, but then again I know nothing about comics. As for the show, it was very corny and very much awful hollywood style "kung-fu".
