Ill say the same thing as I said about Vinny Testaverde, if they can win a championship, Yes.If they dont win a championship, No.And please dont give me 2001 when he was Brady's backup.
I agree with Derek. What will make, or break it for me, if if he can win a ring. If he can, welcome to the hall.. if not, hat's of to you for an impressive career.
He won't get a Super Bowl win before he retires, I'll tell you that much, so now I don't see him in the HoF.
Will he make the HOF? YesWill he win a Super Bowl? NoWhy do you say that? Because he is always been a great quarterback. He's 5th in completions, 7th in yards, 13th in touchdowns. I think this guy deserves it someday. Not everybody wins what you want.
He needs a Super Bowl win to tie that knot man, that's my take. He's good but just cuz you're good doesn't mean you get in. It's reserved for the all-time GREATS.
Going to or not going to a Super Bowl should not effect if a person gets into the HOF. That is the stupidest idea ever. Should we go off and get rid of every player that played in the NFL that is in the Hall before 1965? They never won a Super Bowl so they shouldn't be in then. STUPID. Absolutely stupid. Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe have been very successful quarterbacks and should get into the HOF same thing with Warren Moon.
He reminds me of sooooo many baseball players who have put up great stats. Fred McGriff, Andre Dawson...etc. He has great stats, he was a great player, but what makes him stand out? What will make you remember bledsoe 10 years form now, nothing. And therefore I don't think he belongs.

He's a great player and all but I don't think he will. He doesn't really stand out as one of the top QBs IMO.

Theres too many Great players not in the hall of fame to let somebody like Bledsoe in it IMO.

The Hall of Fame is so diluted, Bledsoe put up some good seasons but nothing he did was very special...Sorry, I jus think the HOF needs stricter standards or it loses it's awe.
But didnt he take the pats to the SB but lost to the pack.He has a SB ring though but all he did was sit on the bench.1 more ring SB or championship ring and i say hes in the HOF.
Possibly He has some good numbers like many said but I dunno man sometimes good players get snubbed from the Hall of Fame
I think its crazy to say that he wont make the HOF. Look at his stats and take into account that he played most of his career in cold weather. True he did back up Brady the year the Pats won the Super Bowl and began their remarkable dynasty but I think the Pats would of still won a NFL Championship with him at the helm. Brady had his best season stat wise this past year. In all previous seasons they won the championship it was a team effort (Brady did not carry that team). So to answer your question, yes to HOF and no to superbowl (because he is in the NFC and that confrence is just weak).

Will Drew Bledsoe - EVER - lead HIS team to a Superbowl.I think the answer to all 3 of those is NO. Therefore, I dont think he should be a Hall-of-Famer.
