I thought it was Nate who was responsible for this team winning so many games than the year before? Who needs Brandon?

We've beaten the Spurs, Sixers, and Pistons without Brandon, Travis, Joel, and Oden. That took some good coaching, if you ask me.

Nate didn't go off for 31/7 against the Spurs. That was the only reason we won that game

Roy played against Philly, but got hurt. Bayless, not Nate, came in and scored 18 points in 21 minutes.

Detroit......Are we talking about the 15-29 Detroit Pistons? And they actually have a better record than Philly (15-30) does

the Pistons have been snake-bitten by injuries this season too. For the Portland game they had RIP back who played his best game of the year. Those are the Pistons we are talking about

Those Pistons are 6-11 with Hamilton, and it wasn't his best game.

Those Pistons are 1-11 in games that Prince has played in as well.....Just in case anyone wants to bring his name up too.

what other game are you referring to? I'll stick with my claim from a purely statistical standpoint (25 points on 16 shots, 5 boards, 9/2 Asst to TO) and that he led his team to a win over a good team on the road.

Prince (like Rudy and LA) has played through injury. I'm missing your point... is it tied in to the usual potshots you take at the Blazer coach?

My gut feeling is Brandon Roy is not coming back for quite a while.

heres a very vague update on roy... which seems to say no time soon

PORTLAND — Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy won't travel with the team on its upcoming two-game road trip, coach Nate McMillan said.

Roy is scheduled to be re-evaluated Monday to check the status of his strained right hamstring.

The two-time All-Star has missed six of Portland’s last seven games, including Wednesday’s contest against the Utah Jazz at the Rose Garden.

Roy received a platelet-rich plasma infusion last Friday in the attempt to shorten his rehabilitation time.

And Roy said Tuesday he was hopeful he would be able to travel with the team as it takes on Houston and Dallas on consecutive nights, beginning with a contest Friday against the Rockets.

But McMillan stated that the Blazers decided on keeping Roy in Portland because the team’s best treatment options are based there.

General manager Kevin Pritchard said he would love to have Roy on the road, because the guard takes an active role on the bench. Pritchard also prefers to ease players back into the lineup and feels bringing injured athletes on road trips can aid the process.

But he acknowledged the main issue is making sure Roy’s injury heals properly.

Roy attempted to play Jan. 20 against Philadelphia, but aggravated the strain. He played just 18 minutes versus the 76ers before retreating to the locker room.

Pritchard acknowledged Roy will likely remain in Portland to prevent a similar reoccurrence.

“We’re going to be cautious,” Pritchard said. “And just because a guy goes on a road trip doesn’t mean he’s going to play.”

I would prefer it if he only came back if he was fully right. Coming back to only tear his hamstring would be depressing.

One thing is even more clear..people use sports as a way to vent their pent up aggressions...

Personally, yes I do get tired of our 4-1 ISOs, but we are a team that is yet again over achieving...for that I'm thankful.

Let's get one thing clear; Jesus saves, not Brandon Roy.
