Trading Eddy Curry for two lottery picks to the Bulls, I would say puts him right up there. Is he trying to help the Knicks, or is he trying to help the Bulls? I wonder.
No - this is why - drafting. He is probably one of the top 3 drafting gms in the league. He always drafts well. Some of his decisions are very questionable, but you can' question his decision making on draft day.
Isiah never traded Eddy Curry to the Bulls, the Bulls traded Eddy Curry to the Knicks for two draft picks. Curry had an all-star caliber year for hte knicks, and that draft pick isnt' that amazing at this point. Isiah isn't a great GM in anyway but I don't consider him awful. BTW this is very old news.

No it's Elgin Baylor obviously. He didn't do sh*t with the clippers until elton brand. This is like the billionth thread on this. WE DO HAVE A SEARCH FEATURE.

Yeah, there are others that deserve some attention, and don't make IT look that much like a fool. Danny Ainge is one of the worst. The development of Al Jefferson doesn't save everything.
Didn't Isiah also trade Damon Stoudamire to Portland for practically nothing when he was GM in Toronto? I would say Elgin is a worse GM than Isiah, Elgin, when he was coach with New Orleans and had some influence with the GM dueties, pushed for the decission to sign Goodrich and give the Lakers a first round pick in return, which ended up being Magic. With the Clippers he's drafted such wonderful players as Joe Wolf, ken Norman, Reggie Williams, Lamond Murry, Lorenzen Wright, Michael Olowokandi,Melvin Ely and Yaroslav Korolev. He also has traded every good player the team has even gotten until recently.
No, he is not the worst of all time. But, Eddy Curry is lighting it up in New York. It was lopsided, and it still is, but it isn't that bad of a deal.Thomas is a solid drafter, not top three, but he's solid. He isn't the worst in today's game.

He was also stupid enough to sign Jalen Rose to a 90M contract. What a freaking moron.
Isiah knows talent, and I think he's a pretty good drafter. He took David Lee at the 30th pick and he's averaging a double double. Balkman hasn't been that bad, either.I think he just has problems when it comes to signing players to large contracts.

Especially since Antonio Davis expired that year, then he took on Rose's $15M or whatever for 2 years... ended up waiving him anyway. Horrible deals.

Kind of hard to tell.
