He has the weight of the world on his shoulders. He knows he has to be more than 'just a piece to the puzzle,' he was the #1 overall pick and most hyped Center since Shaq.

With all that pressure, he's not having fun. Brandon is doing his best to help alleviate the pressure but the other 'big piece' is doing jack shit. LaMarcus has been very inconsistent and looks like he has regressed a bit.

If LaMarcus emerged as the 20/10 PF, or 20+ ppg scorer, combined with Brandon Roy's solid play, a lot of the focus would be drawn off of Greg.

Oh thanks. It's been 1/6th of the season and LA has already regressed.

well truthfully, it looks as though he has, from where he was at the end of last season. i think basically we have more scorers with rudy here, so his stats are taking a little hit.

im expecting him to finish the season around 19/7 hopefully.

He really has. He was dependable the entire season last year. This year? He's turned into a Channing Frye clone.

His shot isn't falling yet he still insists on shooting instead of taking it to the hoop or getting deep position on the block.

It's not just you. He looks really depressed all the time, even when we were routing the Bulls. I wish we gave him the ball more often. He sets screens flashes into the lane with hand in the air and we always ignore him.

You must have missed his 11 straight points in the post of Friday night when he wasn't doubled.

Not playing up to par for 14 games does not mean he has regressed. Maybe you should wait till the end of the season before making such a bold statement.

and Bayless always looks pissed that he's not playing...The guy isn't going to get any serious PT this season unless someone gets hurt or a trade goes down and he's knows it.

Oden looked the same when he was out injured at Ohio State, as I recall. That's just his demeanor when he can't produce up to his expectations.

Big men need a pass first point guard. Blake is doing good this season, but he is not a true penatrate and pass point guard. He would be a great backup. Sergio actually has been doing a good job setting up Greg, but he just makes too many dumb mistakes.

He might look sad, but at least he doesn't look like he's about to cry, like Jarrett Jack did. Oden's is a more mature world-weariness, befitting his advanced age.
