The Spurs gave restricted FA center Francisco Elson a 2 year $6 million contract offer.Do you think it is worth matching?I do, only because of the fraility of Camby and Nene (and Martin if he doesn't get traded). Reggie Evans might still return, but I think the Nuggets need all the bigs they can get (keep).I've been frustrated with Elson since he has been a Nugget, but he can provide some decent minutes off the bench if needed. If the Nuggets are going to let him go, I'd rather see them figure out a sign and trade with the Spurs. Maybe with Brent Barry coming to Denver? . . . (Yes I think Denver, would have to send something else back in return).

I think that the Nuggets need to keep Francisco around. He showed with good minutes he can produce big time last year. You never know how Nene's leg is going to hold up, and to have a proven guy backing up the bug men incase of injury or trade is always a good idea.
