Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby were good, though not quite on this level. If you go way back then maybe Calvin Natt has an argument, but I wasn't alive at the time.

And Nurkic is special in that he's completely reinvigorated what had been a thoroughly dead season.

He is like the cavalry to the rescue. For importance of team spirit, defense, offense and acquisition timing, I couldn't think of anyone better. thZCDIG52Z rain on fly.jpg Pre Nurk to th sdes.jpg

It's hard to think of a better midyear upgrade:
    • 22 years old
    • Cheap contract
    • Defensive anchor
    • He may be the best screener we've ever had (has he been called for a moving screen yet?)
    • 7'3, 280lb, yet shockingly nimble
    • Great pick and roll defender
    • Bounces his former team out of the playoffs to get us in
    • That extra first round pick
    • Cost us a mediocre player we were losing anyway
Hard to see how this could have gone better for us.

Denver pays for the entire S2 crew to have a free round with a local escort service? (except for Sly of course)

Plus you can't file a police report when you hold up a sign saying " please rob us".

Which smart ass comment should I go with?

I know he's lost the forum, but was Sly really in danger of losing his job?

What does Nurk have to do with the HCPs shitty replays?

    Calabro and Hurd still suck

no, he was traded for in the off season. Buck for Sam Bowie and the 12th pick (I think it was 12. Ended up being Mookie Blaylock).

45 minutes at the dog park nets Sly more tails than S2 could gather in that time anyway.

Fair enough since they robbed us stone cold on the Afflalo deal.

Nurk must read S2, that's why he loves Portland so much

You know what I dont get , I m maybe not great at NBA knowlege , but I watch Basketball whole my life . How the fuck Malone could not make Nurkic and Jokic work . Nurkic is force on glass in paint , Jokic is more have guard quality and much more gentle touch . I believe great coach would make them a deadly duo with let say two guards like Portland has and decent bench that would be great team

Duck was a midseason trade for Mychal Thompson. But I think Nurk has the potential to be the best....if he stays long term
