With the T-pups trading for Cassel and having Hudson and Wilks also, it is looking like Rod Strickland isn't going to be re-signing. He is a proven player and still has some defensive intensity. He would fit fine in the triangle offense.
Our other option at the point is Gary Payton of course, but Milwaukee said it has been their intention to keep him. Players have been known to cheat the Lakers for more cash.

And our final option is speedy, defensive-minded guard Tyronn Lue, a former Laker. He is a fan favorite; I still like him. He shut down AI in 2001 and learned from MJ in Washington. He has some long-range skills too. The problem is that we allready have Pargo who is a very similar and younger+cheaper player.

So if GP doesn't come to LA, then is our first choice Lue and then R.Strickland? [IMG]

strickland is a very solid player, can dish out assists and score when needed. a little bit up in the age department though

no way strickland is a headcase and has no outside shot. he would suffer in the triangle offense. he's also a horrible defender.

we want payton or arenas or terry and nothing less.
