When i watched the LA at the sixers game recently, I was paying close attention t chris webbeb and the way he moved around the court and I think he was being lazy.I know that he is just setteling in and that will take some time.He made a few good passes and paths for AI ,but I don't think that when he was in possesion of the ball he was being aggressive enough and trying to get to the basket. Also when running up and down the court I did not see hin sprint once. I'm not sure if it was just in that game but I think he needs to step up a bit if he wants to show how good of a player he really is now he is with a new team.
I don't know how he's been moving but I do know that he just needs to do his thing. I think this now gives people the right perspective of Webber and now Sixer fans know he is not a god.

We just excited over the fact that we acquired him, and we had every right to be. When was the last time we were ever blessed with a talent like this since we drafted Allen Iverson? So I doubt you may understand on why we celebrated the way we did and in some cases thought we looked at Webber as if he was a ?god?. As for Webber being committed or not, I think he is. He's just having a hard time that's all. It's been a while now since the trade was completed, but don't think that Webber isn?t continuously feeling the ill effects of being traded away from a place that he was loved. Webber is a sensitive guy and he is quite possibly still feeling a little hurt from getting traded and when you add the fact that he was booed by the Philly fans not to long and also trying so hard to live up to the expectations of the trade, it?s taking a toll on him. The propaganda within the media and league can be quite distracting and I doubt that majority of his struggles are within his game. Yes, he needs to adjust a little to fit with Allen Iverson and the team, but at the same time I think the off-court issues are still floating in head. When ever he has a bad game, the media continues to bash on him. When everything is cleared he will slowly gain his swagger back and play basketball the way he is suppose to. But at the same time Jim O'Brien is not doing a good job getting him acclimated with Allen Iverson (but that?s a different story), well whatever the case may be Webber needs to adjust himself. But to be concise, my point is that you pretty much won't see the real Iverson/Webber combo till maybe early next season and what you see this season with Webber struggles should not be projected to be carried on in the 05-06 season. There is just too much going on right now, he probably sill haven?t sunk in the fact that he was traded. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I was paying close attention t chris webbeb and the way he moved around the court and I think he was being lazy.</div> I don't think that has anything to do with him being committed or not. He's just simply having problems with his lateral movement. Remember he sustained a major injury a couple years ago, and he's just not mobile as he used to be.

Trust me, I know about not getting talent. Well actually, I don't know. We have a lot of talent just people that don't use it . But I had a conversation with one talking to me how they said Webber is a superstar, they are one of the top teams in the east right now and a whole bunch of other stuff. No question why he is banned right now!
All you guys got is or was a hell of a player but now he's a wasted player who's old and is injured look at the way he run the court you can tell his knees is weak, he dosent have the lift on his jump shots although he's relying on it, cuz he cant drive to da basket like he used to anymore. webber can play better than the way he play for you guys now. Sacremento got rid of him at the right time. i love webber man but i think he should just retire before getting disrespect and criticism from media and sixers fans and etc. Webber was a great player 2 years ago before he got injured. Straight up webber Retire cuz i bet you that he may not even play ball next yea due to his knee problems.

The way things are looking right now, that was pretty well said. But as 76ers fan, I can't think that way. And I have to stay optimistic about their chances. If they can get in the Playoff's anything can happen. But I just hope Webber gets healthy. We really need him.
