Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? I would say that orlando's 8-4 record is a fluke, because they haven't really beaten anybody that has a high rep. What about your team?
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? Yes, we should probably be 0-11 instead of 3-8 with the way we've been playing...
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? well - we have the talent to have a better record - have lost like 4 games by 3 points or less, so I'd say our is about right
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? Celtics have been in just about every game they've played, so I'd think 4-7 is a pretty good representation of how mediocre/bad they are.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? The Suns will come around for sure. I can see them slowly getting there already. They have all the talent in place to become a contender but there have been some problems that set them back. Players out of shape, slow starts, Amare, the ball(yes the ball though not a big reason, just one of many that they will fix). Just their team play doesn't seem like what it was but it'll be better.

They are not accidentally beating thes teams, they are playing solid ball the way it should be. They are hitting the boards hard, controlling the pace and attacking the rim.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? The Rockets are not a fluke, Yao has been playing tremendously and T-Mac has helped a lot with assists. Players like Alston and Head have been very dependable shooters, this is definitely a playoff season.

We are 4-8 now and we've been blown out twice, we gave up a 25 point lead in Cleveland, we just lost by 9 in Charlotte, we lost to Orlando due to bad defense in the last 2 minutes. We're 4-8 now, and that is no fluke. We are an extremely young team with injury woes and a bad coach.

Obviously they have the four wins, they lost by 4 to New Orleans and were right with them, they were right with Detroit until they did what they usually do and hit their shots with 3 minutes left and less and went crazy, they had chances to win against Utah, Orlando and Cleveland. The last 2 losses are the only 2 losses where you can legitimately say they F*cked up. The Cleveland one, they just got overwhelmed, and I'm sure given a 25 point lead again they wouldn't blow it. Yes we are young, inconsistent, injured, and a sh*tty coach, but you must admit that they have been in a lot of their losses and they had chances to win some of those games. Whether they do it or not is a completely different thing, and obviously they're young and inconsistent, which is why they didn't win them.EDIT: I also never said our record was a fluke. I said it is representitive of the team we have.

I love it. The Milwaukee Bucks are just a bad basketball team being led by one of the games best and it's sad to watch. Record is what it should be.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? I don't think our record is a fluke, but I think it'll get better. Losing 4 in a row, then coming back to win 8 is kinda ridiculous.

I'M JUST TRYING TO WIN A GAME!!!!
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? I don't consider any loss a fluke so I will name the games we should have won.Clippers: 96 Nuggets: 95We had this game in the bag, We had a 9 point lead before Carmelo got ejected early in the 3rd quarter. We played without Carmelo nearly the entire second half, That's the most impressive thing. Had Andre Miller gave Earl Boykins a better inbound pass to end the game we could have won it then also. If Carmelo wasn't ejected I don't see us losing that game.Timberwolves: 112 Nuggets 109:I blame this loss on Carmelo Anthony, Had he been one decision smarter we could have won this game. He missed 3 three point shots in a row to try and tie the game, He's obviously not a good 3 point shooter. He needed to give the ball up to JR Smith/Earl Boykins.Knicks: 107 Nuggets 105:How do we lose to the Knicks? Jamal Crawford stole the ball from Eduardo Najera in mid air during a pass. He steals the ball and hits the game winning 3 pointer. That was an amazing play...
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? Memphis, we're better, watch us after all-star break with Pau, whoa :shok:

And correction, not everybody is hittig the boards, just D-12 Dwight Howard (who is a freak, I don't think anybody would disagree with that). Look, the Magic are my favorite team, but that record will not stay 9-4 if they continue to be one of the league leaders in turnovers. Jameer Nelson needs to figure out whether he is a passing or shooting point guard. I think he's more of a shooter, so he should let Grant Hill do more ball-handling.
QUOTE (austingriz76 @ Nov 25 2006, 03:21 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Memphis, we're better, watch us after all-star break with Pau, whoa :shok:
Oh please stop with the memphis bs. it's worse than most of the Raptors fans before the season talking about them going to the playoffs. MEM had a very solid, well-rounded team, but Mike Fratello seemed to hae problems with those guys. Now they're very young, wild in their style of play, and they're waiting on Pau Gasol to bring them out of their pit? Please stop. Pau Gasol isn't a franchise player in my opinion. When he had Jason Williams, James Posey, Bobby Jackson, Bonzi Wells, and Stromile Swift by his side, he could've easily gotten them a playoff win, but remember what happened? Exactly.Memphis's record is a fluke, it should be worse.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? To be honest, our 7 - 6 record is a fluke. We should be like 4 - 9. We've been playing horribly, little effort, horrible chemistry, just bad play. The only thing holding us together is our talent.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? New Jersey Nets are supposed to be playing better than they have been playing for the past four games... If they keep this up, they won't win their Division title!
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? Yeah ours is a fluke. we're 4-4 on the road after winning only 8 games on the road all of last season and we're 1-5 at home :ranting: we don't have a homecourt advantage at all. they play scared at home for some reason and can't close out games. we've been in every game except the twolves game. if we close out games and win at home we're a winning basketball team easily.
Re: Is your team's record a fluke?? The Spurs record isnt a fluke. Two of the games that they have lost have been to top championship contenders, and the third was off of a bad game. They should have beaten Charlotte when the game went in to overtime but they didnt make the plays when they needed to. The other two losses we deserved. They just played better than we did..
