Isaac Hamilton lost his appeal to void the national letter of intent he signed with UTEP, so the freshman guard won't be allowed to play for No. 22 UCLA this season.

The school said Thursday that Hamilton will be allowed to practice with the Bruins this season and will have three years of eligibility remaining. He enrolled at UCLA and signed a scholarship offer in September.
