<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Isiah Thomas held preliminary discussions Wednesday with the Nuggets about ex-Knick center Marcus Camby, whom Thomas selected with Toronto's No. 2 pick of the 1996 draft, The Post has learned. Thomas is searching for an athletic big man after losing Antonio McDyess in the deal, with Rasheed Wallace high on the wish list. Camby has stayed relatively healthy this season, missing just four games. But he can opt out of his contract after the season, and the Nuggets could be concerned he'll be asking for too much. Denver is again trying to get under the cap this summer. </div> Full Story
Maybe, Isiah could trade Thomas for Camby. Kurt Thomas is pathetic. He takes shots he shouldn't be taking, causes turnovers and Kurt was mad when he dosen't get enough game time even though it was more time that he even deserves.
it dosent appear kiki is asking for thomas thank god. i see a deal that includes doleac/money/this years seccond for camby if anything in fact happends between them. i would much rather have wallace but thats just me
Isiah needs to slow his role.... There is a difference between taking initiative and being overzealous. He is trying to make deals with two many teams in two short a period of time.
He's trying to built a stronger franchise to work with before the trade deadline. You can't blame him. If I didn't like Denver, I'd say this is a good thing...
Don't expect Camby to be coming over anytime soon. He's been playing marvelous. If Kurt Thomas were to ever come to Denver for Camby, I would shoot myself in the head.
I read this article yesterday, but from the way it sounds, this deal is not very likely at all. Kiki is not going to give up Camby for Doleac and cash. That wouldn't make any sense for Denver. I think Isiah has done enough for now, I know he wants to continue to improve the team, but this isn't a video game - you can't turn over your entire roster in a matter of two or three weeks. Give them a chance to play together for awhile before pulling any more triggers Zeke!
Why is everbody knocking Kurt Thomas, he plays with more heart than any other Knick. I know you guys have alot of new faces & your happy about the new big name players like Steph/Penny. But dont forget about the effort kurt thomas has given the knicks over the years. He played as an undersized center these past 2 years before Dikembe came & never complained. He just went out & basically gave you guys a double- double every night. Now everyone wants to throw him away for Marcus Camby who spent most of his Knick carreer on the injured list. I think Kurt deserves a little bit more respect than that for his effort.

Tradin' him off would be a mistake IMO.
