I didnt find that funny. The guy friggin said we dont believe in any god but Allah. People need to realize that Allah is another word for "GOD." We believe in God, but we call him "Allah". Allah is another word for God.

Especially to Muslims, Christians, and Jews.
i think its hilarious, if it was aimed to belittle muslims alone it would be bigoted, however, christians looked equally as bad. plus, its not as much about religion as individuals being caught up in their faith (i.e. zealots and their irrationality)
There are so many more things to laugh about then the subject matter of religion, didn't you figure people would be offended by this?
<div class="quote_poster">Air Fresh Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">There are so many more things to laugh about then the subject matter of religion, didn't you figure people would be offended by this?</div> no. plus, it doesn't signal out any group, and again its satire.
In my opinion, Religion isn't something to make funa bout at all. There are people dying in the world today because of Religion, and here people are having a good laugh.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with everyone in this thread not really a funny subject, or one to joke around about.

I think everyone's missing the point about this skit. It's making fun of how monotheistic religions (believe their path to God is the only true one) engage in pointless arguments over which is superior. It is totally ironic and sarcastic (eg: the Christian dude calling the Muslim a mindless zealot after he said that "every word of the Bible is true, because Bible says so", or the Muslim dude repeating the same argument over and over again). They're making fun of religious arguments, not religions.
I found the end to be hilarious. It's kinda like Borat, and it's okay because Jon Stewart is Jewish lol.

It's been acquired by almost all faiths. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Smitty:</div><div class="quote_post">Deception..you are so weird.</div> lol. I think most religion is baloney....not in a sense of the beliefs of the religion...but how we go about it. If I was born in a muslim family, i'd be muslim, a jewish family i'd be a jew...but i was born into a chatholic family....i didn't choose anything. It was chosen for me and some people are so entrenched in it....believe in what you want and let others do the same...WHO CARE's...nobody can tell each other is wrong cause nobody knows.......AMEN Watch your language -Chutney
an interesting part of the thread for me is that the canadians (me, chutney, norespect) have come out in opposition against all things radical in faith, whereas the americans seem to be the diametric opposite.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Anyways, this is meant to be funny. The only possible complaint I could see is if someone thought it was a little anti-semitic at the end. But Stewart's Jewish, it was blatantly sarcastic, and since no one's really complained about that aspect, there's nothing much else to say. This is nothing compared to Borat.
You guys are way too uptight, there was nothing hurtful said at all. It was all in good fun. Don't you guys know what a joke is?
<div class="quote_poster">deception Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Satcyg8LSAk</div> That was hella funny! HAHAHHAHAHA! P.S. Nothing is too holy to be joked about.
