That's something you can come away with from tonight's game. Yes, we lost, but we showed yet again that we are very hard to put away. We never quit and we always come back and give ourselves a chance to win. And often, we've pulled out the win. Just not this time. But you have to give credit to the guys for fighting to the finish. We don't get blown out much.

    Agreed! Good post.

For a team considered soft... it never gives up.

Can't wait until LMA is like a 6-7 year vet. He's going to DOMINATE.

Very true, but what happened to our lack of 3's tonight. Looks like Batum made all of them (3/3pters), kindof ironic when many of you said he wasn't ready to be in the starting lineup.

Agreed. That's a level of professionalism that is not there for other NBA teams, and I give Nate a ton of credit for that.

But... I also feel that he is terrible at in-game adjustments, always lets the other team dictate pace and flow, and has questionable defensive philosophies (the freaking pick and roll D is still just killing me). In other words, get used to us coming back from a big hole every game.

We seem to be good at making halftime adjustments, just not ones in the flow of the game.

one thing that I noticed from the Clippers broadcast it on the radio was that they said that the Blazers were consistent this year. Last year they would win a game blow the team out and then get blown up next game. and there is a stat that it's Brandon Roy came on board Blazers are like 20 and three in games decided by three points or less or some stat like that. I think the number of injuries still kind of hurt our chemistry consistency but the Blazers seem to be adjusting as certain players still won't step up but then the next game they will.

That and we can't beat a top 9 Western team on the road.

This team can go so unfocused for 3 quarters and then focus in the 4th. Rather than be content with one good quarter, I'm worried about the preceding 3.
