It maybe Kidd's team, but it's Carter's ball.

Let's just call it as it is. The Nets may have been saying that they still see Kidd as the face of the Nets, but it sure doesn't show on the court. It's not at all difficult to see that they want Carter to lead and Jason to step aside. But the problem is, nobody would buy it. No matter how many all-star votes Carter gets, everyone knows that he can't lead a team. Well, except the Nets front office and Frank. It's been frustrating to see the Nets offense being forced to Carter. And evident the past 2 seasons, the Nets has crashed and burned with that plan. And when the panic sign lights up, they then turn to Kidd and expect him to pull out a miracle. It has been a proven fact. Kidd with the ball equals a Nets win. But they have been looking at another direction and has had a deaf ear on this. They want Carter to be the number one guy, but they want Kidd ready when he fails. A set-up that is complete BS! They didn't want to give him up to the Lakers because they very well know that once Kidd is out, so are the Nets. I really hope Kidd leaves the Nets this coming off-season and go to the Lakers or a team where he can get his ring and give him the respect he deserves.

Bro, we get it. I get it.

It's actually not the hard to figure out what's going, and I don't know why some people choose to deny it.

As much as you and I dislike Carter, let's not jump all over him in every thread. I understand the frustration, but not much we can do about it.

It's more on the coaching and the front office I'm really frustrated on.

Hasn't the front office been pretty good,

considering they traded away KMart without taking on any bad contracts.

They acquired Vince when his value was at an all-time low, and he started playing at an allstar level again.

They dumped a non-happy Zo in the process.

They found a steal in the draft in Marcus Williams, and possibly a solid pick in Boone.

They got Mikki Moore for cheap, and I believe they also got Uncle Cliffy for cheap as well.

And Frank won the Atlantic division last year, and has managed to get this team in a position in the playoffs despite injuries and distractions (Kidd's wife).

I can't really be mad at the front office. They made a lot of good decisions towards improving the Nets. They made some bad choices, but majority of them really helped improve the Nets in a certain situation.

Of course not trading Kidd is probably what AMS is talking about. In a way I would have to agree with it part.

Most of the blame has to go on Lawrence. He controls the lineups, mins etc, so blaming him for giving Carter the ball would be more reasonable.

So how many more wins do you think the Nets would have if it had a different coach?

Who really knows? You can blame the coach, but injuries have taken a toll on the Nets as well.

A coach who decides to run through Kidd, and less injuries, might have had Nets one of the top teams in the East.

Overall this season has been bad for the Nets in many aspects.
