The Cheifs need another receiver to take the load off of Gonzales, their current guys aren't bad but they arent much to brag about, Mason would be an awsome target for Trent Green and with Samari Rolle and Mcleon as your Corner tandum the cheifs may have a good defense! But i really can't say anything look at the Packers D for the past few Years!
We disagree about McCleon. I think the Chiefs may end up relegating him to backup only (rather than the nickel back position he has enjoyed the past couple of years.) McCleon was a good player, but last season he was the guy opponents chose to pick on most often. (And they won that gamble the majority of the time.) I think he has lost a step in both speed and leaping ability. He could maybe be a good presence if we draft a young corner this year, or if Bartee remains a Chief as a mentor, but his best playing days are over.
When are teams able to pick up free agents? If Fowler is a man of his word, he'll go after at least three of those players.
