The New York Yankees won over the Texas Rangers by a score of 5-1 in six innings. The game was called because of rain. The A button was for fastball. The C button was for slider. The D button was for the sinker. I actually have no clue how these video game works nowadays but I do know how C.C. Sabathia works. This is how he works… he works by vanquishing the opponents. He’s the “Vanquisher.” C.C. struck out six straight batters and retired 12 consecutive at one point during the game. That’s pretty bossy of him to do that. In case you didn’t know, the Yankees asked C.C. Sabathia to be the supervisor of the game. They asked him to be the chaperon and show the Texas Rangers how to lose. He did that and so much more. He made them encounter anguish in a rain, soaked, drenching downpour. He pitched six innings giving up one earned run while striking out nine. Ok now, wait, what? NINE batters? He struck out, NINE batters in six innings? Holy smoke! That is incredible! Can you imagine if he pitched eight innings? Can you say, over 10 strike outs? He was 0-1, 0-2, ALL night! Do you hear me? ALL night! Yeah, we know the game. It’s the Yankees winning video game. I mean, rain drops were falling on the Ranger’s heads and so were runs. The Yankees were stealing bases, moving runners over, getting RBI’s. Derek Jeter “Jetered” the Rangers. That means he used his winning ways to beat them. It was a typical multi-hit game for Jeter. Granderson. What’s up with this guy? I didn’t know he’d play this well. He’s batting .308! What about Francisco Cervelli? He seems to always get big hits. Why? Because he’s a “heavy weight.” He knows how to do his job when called upon. Not only that, he called a great game for C.C., like usual. Anyway, it was just another great win for the Yankees and just another win on their way to their next championship. Until tomorrow, LET’S GO YANKEES!!
