Rant about the corrupt in here. They are disgraces, battering some people for pointless reasons scaring the life out of woman who came to watch a game. I don't understand why they place the police on the side of Manchester United, are they trying to say British fans are the worst? They are just jealous that we used to be hooligans now most of our fans now NEVER riot. And you get it every game in Italy, France, Argentina. Mostly Italy though.
Italy is corrupt with fans behaviour. Utd fans were warned that an incident like this would happen and the Mayor of Rome defended their city over allegations that they were disruptive. If Utd had of beaten Roma last night, fireworks and other missiles would have been thrown at the fans and the players. Uefa really need to sort it out for the safety of others. And the policia.. they are just looking an excuse to hit someone.
I'm sorry but in my eyes it was the United fans what started it last night. Ok the police were over aggresive but if the United fans hadn't charged at the Roma fans would this of happened? Now don't start saying it was the Roma fans because all they were doing was celebrating a goal, something that happens at every ground in the world. If you watch the footage again you will see a red and white tape of which the United fans were not meant to cross. I've been to Roma and seen 1st hand how brutal the bizzies are without provocation but for me it was the United fans who became aggresive first. This isn't just an anti Man U rant. If you look now United fans have been in trouble in their last 2 away games in Europe so theres no smoke without fire as they say.
yea news reports are saying united fans were throwing things at the roma fans which sparked off the police coming up. of course the police are twats for being so brutal, all tehy had to do was stop the fans going anywhere, not beat and stab people. gotta say though the last time they were in trouble it wasnt there fault, and i didnt see any french police kicking crap out of the french fans. french police are pretty damn corupt while im thinking about it.
Its just been on SSN that its ticketless fans again in Rome. The thing in France was that United fans without tickets got in the ground hence the overcrowding. We all know that UEFA will use anything they can against the English and United are now dragging our name through the mud again. Lets just hope we don't get a blanket ban again.
United dragging whos name through the mud? and just to inform you, there were ticketless Liverpool fans when they played PSV.
Roma fans and Man Utd fans were taunting each other last night. I was pretty mad i noticed they were only on Utd's side and giving them a big beating. Tis a discrace last night, totally unfair.
Man U fans started all this bullshit by charging at the barrier between them and the Roma fans and throwing stuff at the Roma fans Just because they were celebrating so I think the Man U fans deserved it.
lilguy you are deluded under the corrupt Italians. Do you think this wasn't planned? ALL police on Man Utd fans side. They put the police there to make it look like the Brits were causing trouble and make it looks like we are the worse fans. The reason for this is because on the manc website they said watch out for these area's for the ultra scumbags. And the major Roma got annoyed cause i guess he felt insulted and pissed off still that we have better fans. Whats the best way to sort it? Make our fans look bad. I mean for christ sake their was 10 year old kids there. Most Lazio and Roma fans are scum.
I never said that the United fans deserved it, i just said they caused it by rushing at the Roma fans. The bizzies were far too heavy handed. When i went there watching Liverpool it was exactly the same. We had bottles and lighters and all kinds of shit thrown at us but as soon as just one got thrown back the bizzies baton charged us. But last night the Roma fans were celebrating and goading like happens every weekend here but the United fans charged and went past the taped barrier through the police lines to get at the Roma fans so in my eyes it was the United fans who were after trouble. What did they want the police to do ?Stand there and say go ed lads enjoy yourselves, no they're gonna hit out at them which like i said was TOO heavy handed. The bizzies didn't just hit anyone last night they waded into the front line who was causing the trouble so to come home and start crying about it when they have been hit is a bit hypocritical but i do feel sorry for the odd 1 who was innocent.
Roma fans were doing what Man Utd fans were doing but Roma fans got away with it because there was no police on there side. They went up to the barrier and taunted Man Utd fans in the first place.
Reading our local paper today, and someone from our area went to Roma who was disabled. They were not given any special treatment like a different seating area or even lifts. Yes, the fans and stewards had to carry them to there seats. Then when the trouble started this disabled and in a wheelchair fan got hit several times and fell over 4or5 lots of seats. And even then, it was up to the other fans to get him ou of the ground safely. Now that is just horrible.
