    I blame imaginary cap space.

Amen. I've never been so apathetic about this team since I became a fan. Part of it has been because of my 14 month old son and cutting cable, but I frankly don't care as much this year because of how painful and embarrassing it feels to want to care. We the fans deserve better than this.

As other people have pointed out: this is a crazy season. Name me a team that hasn't had at least a couple really dispiriting losses. Look at the Lakers. Look at the Mavs. Hell, OKC just lost at home to Cleveland. Everything's amplified this year, for good or ill. What was the record of the New York Knicks when they made the playoffs in the last lockout season?

I think that's correct as far as it goes, but those other teams are fighting back from their ugly losses. So far, the Blazers haven't shown the heart to do so. Maybe tonight....? Probably wishful thinking.

It the team can't get well against the Wiz, especially considering the last time they played, then it's ovah!
