That's exactly what they should be doing to this team. Winning 10 of 11 is just what was needed with a rough stretch coming up.

6-1 with six different scorers. Good to see.

My first thought after goal 6 was ......'save some of these for
the upcoming road trip.' Then I thought, Go for it....
scoring could be contagious as we go on the road.

BTW...how pathetic are the Flyers. They are getting whipped by the awful Devs 5-1 after 2 periods...wow.

Pens down 3-1 to Montreal. If that score holds we'd be 5 back of Pitt with 2 games in hand to get within 1 point. Great stuff.

I am looking forward to the next 7 games, especially the next 3 at Anaheim, at LA, and at SJ. We'll get a great chance to see just how good we really are. If we get rolled and go like 2-5 or something like that, it would be a cause for concern. But if we can get some wins over that stretch, especially the next 3, that would be a huge step forward.

Hopefully AV finally has his head out of his ass with Glass and realizes he sucks and the team is worse when he plays. Miller makes plays like he did often. He needs to play on one of the top 3 lines now. The 4th line of Stempniak-Moore-Fast was good when they first put it together. It should not be changed.

Good thing the team went 6-1 over their easy 7 game stretch. They needed it with the upcoming stretch.

I agree with everything you wrote dump. Good teams take care of their business, and that is what we did the last stretch of games. I won't knock someone for that, because that is a sign of a good team. BUT no doubt now it gets real and fast. We'll learn a lot about this team the next 2 weeks. How will we do in the 3 Cali games? How many points will we get out of the next 7 games (14 possible points). Should be fun to watch.

As for the lines, I agree as well. I have said for a while I'd like Miller with Hags and Hayes and Stemp with Fast and Moore. I don't see that changing for the moment though. The line of Hags/Hayes/Fast has played really well, and was great last night, so I am sure they will stay together for a little stretch now.

Bottom line to me is not the line combos so much, it is make sure Glass is out. From there the rest will fall into place. Glass MUST be out. I hope AV sees that now.

Brooks with another moronic, "The Rangers needing help at center" comment. No they don't stupid. Stepan and Brassard are one of the top 1-2 punches at center in the league right now. Moore is one of the best 4th line centers. Hopefully, Brassard keeps it up to justify his big contract.

What he should have written is Rangers need help with faceoffs. You could argue that is the biggest weakness on the team right now. If we get that worked out sky is the limit.

All goes back to one thing...we are 1 legit top 9 forward added away from being a top line legit SC contender. If that is a C so we can play Hayes on the wing...great. If that is a big winger with size to complete the 3rd line...great. But it is a need for sure. One that if filled would make us a legit cup team.

Adding a big physical d-men would not hurt either. They still don't clear the crease. Most of the teams that they played on this winning streak are garbage.

I don't disagree Step, but I am not sure you can fill many needs given our cap situation. And with that potentially being the case I think the much bigger need is a top 9 forward. Either a C for faceoffs or a wing with size.

I truly believe our D is more than good enough as is, even if in an ideal world we could use a big physical dman.
