Couldn't David Stern just shut these teams down?</div>Okay, the franchise has only been around for 12 seasons, and6 seasons in Memphis, which we've been to the playoffs 3 times. Granted we were swept, but look at the teams we played(Suns, with healthy Amare...San Antonio, and Dallas who went to the Finals that season). Our best player we injured, we had a coaching change...this season just didnt go right...that doesn't mean the Grizzlies should just parish. Not every team is going to become contenders in 3 or 4 seasons. Ive heard so many people talk about this and its stupid. Like most teams, Yeah we have holes..but not "to many to fix at once". We need a PG to run the team and we need a banger. Our bench could get better but that can come from the draft or free agency. Its just really tough to be a Griz fan, and it really pisses me off when I see Boston and Laker fan crying about the past 3 or 4 seasons saying they are cursed or whatever...try being a Griz fan, its not easy. And we have a tough city when it comes to sports and if somebody slips up(like Gasol) nobody hardly likes that player anymore...
Yeah, when I read that I was pissed off. One bad season in Memphis after making the playoffs 3 straight years, and we're all of the sudden need to be kicked out of the league. That's ridiculous. It made me so mad. Things just didn't go our way last year. We still have a talented team.
