Re: It's Great to be Alive and a Titans Fan! A little over a month ago I was beginning to think it would be years before the Titans would make the playoffs, much less, go to a Super Bowl. But now all that has changed. Given the way the Titans have come together as a team, finding ways to win, having fun and have a ton of money to spend next year, I truly believe they will nor only be in the playoffs in 07, but will be a championship caliper team as well. The big question on my mind is; who will be the backup to Vince Young? Let me know who you think may be the #2 man at the QB position. Thanks,BKSsports :beerbang2:
Re: It's Great to be Alive and a Titans Fan! Titans still have a good amount of work to be done before people are realistically talking Championships IMO. Such as giving him a halfway decent reciever, a 2nd corner, and upgradeing a spot or two in the Front 7, not to mention that Vince Young has to drastically improve those Passing numbers, he can't do it all running. They should have never traded Volek, perfect backup QB right there. They'll probably sign some recycled veteran like Kurt Warner or Brad Johnson though to do the job.
Re: It's Great to be Alive and a Titans Fan! Ok, for the sake of conversation what do think about this senerio; If Steve McNair does not go to the Super Bowl, what are the chances he may return to the Titans as a backup to Vince? I know it sounds crazy, but is it out of the question?

Re: It's Great to be Alive and a Titans Fan! Yes, we have a lot of holes to fill, but as long as we have VY & the game is close, we'll always be in it.As far as the #2 QB, in an ideal world, it would have been great if Volek could have stuck around. However, things went on behind the scenes that kept him from ever being the regular starter here. I doubt we'll ever know the whole story to it, but basically, drafting VY was the end of the Volek era in Tennessee.I don't imagine we'll ever seen McNair as a Titan again after the "divorce" this offseason. Neither the Titans nor McNair made it easy.
