In 2009 we only have Carter, Jefferson, Williams, Williams and Boone contracted. Now if Thorn does a "Kiki" and stows away that salary cap space to hopefully land a big fish, we will be in a good position for the future. Collins will be off the books, and given his sharp offensive downturn he will not be a coveted free agent, allowing us to sign him for peanuts if so is required. If Kidd leaves, so will Carter. If he stays he'll play for less. People have said we have no future... that is not true. We have Area 51 and a whole lotta cap space...</p> Sure this season may get better/worse, but Thorn has been savvy not to commit too many dollars in longterm contracts ala Isiah... We are in good finacial shape....</p>
