Nowhere near as generational as Wemby

Maybe not but I think he has a chance. He will be for American born players for sure. He is very special and a complete player not what people always say about the next star that is hyped.

I remember watching Kevin Durant play with team USA, and thinking "Oh damn, we took the wrong player"

Wemby is LeBron status, flagg is still generational. I think they are different levels IMO

Different levels in the sense that if the draft had 29 clones of Wemby, Flagg might go 30th.

    LeBron is generational
    Dame is generational
    Steph
    Giannis
    Dirk
    Duncan
    Wemby

Flagg will have to prove it in the league

Not saying he’s not off to a good start. But a start is what it is.

There’s still a chance that Ace Bailey is the better player.

He might be offensively but not defensively. Flagg is one of the best help defensive player I have seen in a while. He is a great all around defender but next level on help defense and shot blocking. He seems to be a complete player offense, defense and play making. You never know when you’re looking at a 17 year old but he looks like the real deal imho. Ace Bailey looks like he is going to be a great offensive player.

I do think if we get Flagg or Ace we go all in and try winning. There are 3-5 other good looking player in the next draft. So we should at least get a real good player. If we only get one of the good players we probably are going to need to tank for a chance at 2026 draft. It is also good with 3-4 good looking players.

    First year in NBA

    2014 Grant
    2015
    2016
    2017
    2018 Ayton, Simons, Williams
    2019 Thybulle
    2020 Avdija
    2021 Banton
    2022 Sharpe, Walker
2023 Henderson, Camara, Murray, Rupert, Reath
    2024 Clingan, Cash
    2025 Flagg

After we trade Grant and Thybulle, someone needs to fill 2019 to not break the chain. Rui slots in

Should be exciting to see somebody other than UCONN win it now that the back to back champion is in the NBA

Hopefully this doesn't happen with Edey.

Especially if Donovan turns out to be a bust. I wanted Edey over Donovan.

He looked good in his 1st summer league game, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. He was also going against Walter Kessler.

well, the realistic comp for Clingan is Kessler, and after two seasons, Utah is trying to dump him; and Ainge, who always starts out shopping tours asking for the moon, is only demanding one first round pick

I was also pro Edey. It’ll be fun to see how it all plays out.
