"I don't think a new voice is necessary. He is the right voice," Weisbrod said Wednesday. "I'm inclined perhaps to have 6 to 8 new sets of ears [players] rather than a new voice." "Yes, he'll be back," Weisbrod said. "There are so many things in him that are right and good, and he knows what it takes. I think he really gets it. He's the right combination."</div>
I personally don't want him to stay. I think we need to get a new fresh start with a new system. Sometimes, just watching JD, I don't know if he has any idea what he's doing.
I too don't want him to stay. I would hire Doc back if it was me. Yeah we had a bad start but I just think Doc would do a better job next season. If not the head coach the assistant at least. IMO.
Doc would never coach Orlando again as long as John Wiesbord and John Gabriel are there and Rich Devos is the owner
I really think Davis should leave also a coach needs to be energetic and explosive I just dont see that on him...I dont know just want something new maybe O'brien.
It's never good when in the middle of games you don't think your coach knows what he's doing. I say dump him. We need to just clean out our whole organization and start over.(not player wise, just management)
I was thinking about Jim O'Brien myself.. I doubt it because he will have a job before the year is over, and there is no way that the Magic would fire their second coach in the same year.. Now its virtually impossible with the solid confirmation that Davis is staying.. Yeah he does look a little shakey at times.. But give him due, this is a big task taking up.. With no experiance to my knowledge.. That can be a hard thing to do.. Taking up a team with a terrible record.. And just trying to do what he can to push them through.. Ill give him some pat on the backs for trying..
Oh in that case... Hes probably just one of those coaches that takes a horrible team for a season, i cant imagine what would give the Magic Management a idea that hes gonna be good.
