And it hurts to say as a Warriors fan and a Raiders fan. All these years I've been telling myself "well at least we're not the Clippers/Hawks/Sonics/Thunder/etc". Read this piece by Ric Bucher- goes in depth into all of the problems the Warriors have been facing with a lot of sources backing up the rumors that have been floating around. Also has some interesting new info such as Stephen Jackson saying he would welcome a trade, rumors of the minority owners of the team trying to buy Cohan out of power, Nellie apparently wanted Monta traded but Mullin refused. Here's a piece in response by TK which further analyzes this article: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawaka...-don-nelson-to-take-a-break-maybe-a-long-one/
yall lost last night without maggette ellis crawford and sjax if you have a full team, i think that there is plenty of talent there.
After watching them this year, its obvious that's not the kind of talent you need to win. Thanks for playing, here's a nice parting gift for you.
Its worse than the Raiders (who are dreadful.) Its like Isiah's Knicks, "wow look at all these fancy pieces we've got (Starbury, Stevie Franchise, Zach, Eddy Curry; only guy worth a damn was the lowest paid guy, David Lee)", "oh there's something like defense and passing?"
Bucher's article is chilling. Alienation of Webber = treatment of Randolph; someone who could be the class of the rookie class? Wow. History is repeating itself.
It does seem like history repeating itself, doesn't it? I knew this day would come... I just knew it...
It seems a lot of warriors fans are seeing the same things. They don't like the combination of Rowell and Nelson and they generally support Mullin and a new ownership. I think Mullin had redeemed himself which I thought was not possible with the way he signed free agents so badly in his first year. Rowell, Cohan, and Nelson have been around forever and they've never changed their old tricks.
I don't follow football a lot, but didn't the Raiders start going downhill after Al Davis would not reward his head coach Jon Gruden to stay and then Gruden won the Super Bowl for the Bucs? Was he actually traded to the Bucs? WTF -- a head coach being traded????!!!!????!!!! That was unheard of. That was some Kosmic Karma up the patootie on Al Davis right there. Bwahahahahahahahahahaha !!! The Warriors need to trade Don Nelson or get rid of him ASAP. I posted elsewhere that it would be great for Nelson to take a sabbatical in the middle of the season. Maybe he could go out for some weird medical reason like in a strait jacket?
