Not hard to hate countries like this, yet so hard to dislike Nick Cannon?

Talk about bias and unbalanced!! You're out of touch and control, Nate. :MARIS61:

You're clearly just jealous of his ability to nab a filthy rich diva.

If there's a celeb I dislike more than Nick Cannon, it might just be Mariah Carey.

Man... if we're talking about celebs I dislike, I would put Kanye and Kim Kardashian waaaaaaay above Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey. It's not even remotely close.

Meh. I don't follow entertainment/celeb media much. Or media that tracks them that closely. I probably was more in-tune back in the day. Which is why Nick and Mariah bug me more. I don't pay much attention these days, and I don't watch a ton of TV these days, so I don't get overexposed to Kanye and Kim.

These days? Kim has been on the TV non-stop for like ten years.

I just googled it. The family TV show started in late-2007. So, she's been "famous" for, what, 6 years now? I can't imagine she's been on top of the world for all 6.

So, yeah. If I haven't watched TV regularly for the last 4-5 years...... at the start of her "celebrity", from what I gathered, people seemed to be enamored with her. I dunno, I guess I really cut back on paying attention to celebs back around the time their show started (I had better things to do with my time - like wasting it here on S2). So, while I have mostly been blind to her apparent rise to "stardom", I was more in tune back when Carey and Cannon were both seemingly popular celebs. Not sure of their popularity now, but their popularity seemed to peak before they were married (at least in Carey's case - didn't she pretty much peak back in the late-90's, early 00's?).

Cannon's Denzel impersonations crack me up, even though his grammar makes him sound like a sixth-grader who is flunking Language Arts...

What am I missing? This is a person who allegedly did a very evil thing. The police are trying to arrest him. His relatives are hiding him. What has this to do with a particular country? No doubt there is a lot to criticize about Pakistan but in this case the "country", that is, police authorities, are doing the right thing.

Trying to protect evil people from the consequences of evil actions is not restricted to any one country.

The police charged a nine-month old baby with attempted murder.

It has nothing to do with LGBT, so she's lost. Perhaps is the 9-month old were gay, she'd have some sympathy for him.

crandc hasn't had any sense of humor for 15 years now, so I doubt this was her initial foray into sarcasm.

Gee, I don't know, maybe her calling me a racist and a bigot for 15 years has given me an unfavorable opinion of her. When she makes a stupid post, I'm going to point it out. :dunno:

what if one of your friends said that it was a good idea to try a 9-month old for something it probably didn't know it did...?

Being that it was one of my friends, I would probably assume they misread the article about the person being 9 months old.

At this point, I fear our wisest course of action is to agressively court India as an ally, letting them do the dirty work in Pakistan. Afghanistan is lost and the Northwest Territories are close behind.

There needs to be a civil war in Pakistan. If you've been there, you would see that Karachi is more or less a separate country from the north. Isolate the crazies. And what the Pakistanis or Indians don't take care of, we simply bomb with drones based in India.
