McCain's new battle cry today is "I've been tested" Unfortunate choice there. He's been tested all right. McCain graduated from the Naval Academy in June 1958; he was fifth from the bottom in class rank, 894th out of 899! Even if you take out the 700 or so who've died of old age that still leaves a couple hundred more qualified candidates.
What do Obama's college transcripts look like? How about anything he published as editor as the Harvard Law Review? How about his senior thesis at Columbia? Oh, wait. None of that has been released.
Well, this says something: ...as editor of the Harvard Law Review... Anyone who doubts his intelligence hasn't listened to him or read his books. That's their (your?) choice.
There's kind of a tradition at the Academy...don't know if it was around during McCain's day... Last guy/girl in the class is given an award, and $1 from each of the classmates above him/her and the title "Anchorman". Lots of guys last semester who are close try to maneuver their way to get to the spot...kind of like "Tanking" for the #1 pick. Not to say give him an out (I don't KNOW that the tradition was there in '58), but I just wanted to throw it out there. And obtw, last at Annapolis is a durned sight more impressive that a lot of other scores in other places. But I'm biased. I wasn't cool enough for last. There's also a saying....2.0GPA=Graduate and become an Ensign. 4.0=Graduate and become an Ensign. Therefore 2.0 = 4.0
Really? Then I'm sure you agree that Bush was more qualified than Kerry, since he had a higher GPA at Yale.
Well, yeah. It's obvious every time he opens his mouth. He makes Billy Carter seem almost intellectual.
Wow, I haven't thought of Billy Carter in quite a few years. I wonder how he feels about Sarah Palin? barfo
