Whoever is doing their mock draft should be fired. It's such a joke. http://draftexpress.com/mock.php?y=2007 Good lord, take a look at that piece of work. Tyler Hansbrough over Al Thornton, Josh McRoberts over Al Horford, Jason Smith over Aaron Gray...Nick Fazekas over Alando Tucker...Wow.

Ya all those are pretty bad especially Fazekas over Tucker he is having a great season and is a canidate for the POY award while his team is number 2 in the country. Also Josh McRoberts has been having a down year and Horford is playing well for Florida and should easily be ranked over him.

Yeah, I'd also have to say the Mustafa Shakur over Acie Law is a little [IMG] in my book as well. Shakur is a good player and all, but Law is a leader and his all the intangibles you want in a player. Also, he is dominant in the last 4:00 minutes of a game.

He can score in various ways, he is a superb playmaker, he can rebound well for his size, he's very clutch, he has shown a great amount of leadership this season, he is extremely quck and athletic, he is a very smart player who doesn't make many mistakes, he is very long and is built well for the NBA, etc. The guy has it all can be a very solid PG. I agree though. I just looked at the mock and it is horrible. How you have a player like McRoberts going 5th in a draft this stacked is beyond me. The guy can be a solid player in the league but he doesn't have what it takes to be an allstar.

The fact that Mustafa Shakur has pretty much done nothing until this season has me a little weary of him. Mabye he's one of those guys that doesn't do his best until something is on the line for him (like millions of dollars in this summers draft).

Wow, just wow. Some of those are just idiotic. Another thing you didn't put down, BCB, is Memphis taking Durant over Oden. Memphis needs a real center as much as anybody in the league, and they already have Gay/Miller/Warrick. No way Memphis takes a SF over a true center. And Josh McRoberts at #5? [IMG]

Me and BCB will make the best mock around!

If the Suns picked McRoberts there I would immediately jump on the Lakers bandwagon [IMG]

DraftExpress with putting Kevin Durant at #1 are simply just trying to make a big statement and be the first to do it...I doubt draft needs are incorporated into Express's mock CB32, it's more like a power ranking...NBADraft.net does not put needs into it's mock draft until the draft time. Still, ridiculous and yes CB32 our mock draft will be the best.

Jason Smith has a lot of potential...he just has to put it together.

Although Colorado State played an AWFUL schedule, he put together some very very good games. He's improved his rebounding quite a bit from his soph season to his junior season, and his FG % is up. He had a real underated year, and I had no idea he's been playing this well all year. He's got great size, good rebounder, solid scorer, pretty good shotblocker.. I think he could be a good pick next year..
