<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> NEW YORK (AP) -- Allen Iverson was fined $10,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for a heated exchange the Philadelphia guard had with an official following the 76ers' loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Iverson, upset about calls, challenged referee Marc Davis after the 94-88 loss. Iverson had to be restrained by teammates, and a few minutes later was seen heading in the direction of the referees' dressing room before general manager Billy King interceded and calmed him down. </div> More here
The ref tells him that he wants to beat his ass and gets nothing,AI gets fined NBA,the only place where you'll get screwed! Fantastic!
It must really suck for players when the calls don`t work for you at all. Man AI should of calmed down though, he shouldn`t of went charging toward their dressing room.
Heading to the referee dressing room is a little overboard. In that case he deserves the penalty, but at the same time the ref should have been penalized as well. But let's just be happy Iverson isn't suspended, that would really hurt us.
I feel bad for AI I love him, he's one of my fave. players. I don't understand why he was the one who was fined. *shakes head*
Those refs were definetley garbage, AI overreacted though. I still can't get over a ref saying that "I'll whup your ass" to AI.
