Thats is a stupid thing to do kill to people while argueing if payton is better than iverson? Not only was what he did killing to people stupid, but the arguement its self is point less at this point in there careers of course AI is better he has finished higher than payton in scoring several years in a row, has won a mvp mos trecently out of the two, and how many points did payton average with the lakers this year. Every sain person can see AI is without any question the better of the two at this point in there careers even in paytons prime I believe AI was better. God people today take sports to seriously.
Iam kind of shock this never made any national news or sports center at least. Anyway basketball conversations can get heated on the block & local courts but to take it to the guns is kind of crazy. Iam guessing there has to be more to the story that they are not saying.
First of all, it's clear who's the better player, and second, to actually KILL someone over an arguement over Basketball (actually over anything for that matter) is just dumb.
I remember something of this sort also happening, it was two college kids that were killed over a throwback jersey. It is crazy to see people take such things to the limits, and for what. What satisfaction does the guy get from this, he ended an arguement, lives, and will end his shortly. I don't want to get into an argument over who is the better player, and I hope none of you do also. It is clear to me as who it is, but that's not what this thread is about.
wow. this almost made my "10 dumbest things" list. 2 young lives being wasted over an arguement about who is better, it's just so stupid. Something else must have happened like another person knifing the murderer because if the guy killed the two solely on this... i'm in shock. what's this world coming to?

A couple of weeks ago I was down at weston field (the name of the local bball court) and there were these two kids fighting over who is better at basketball there names was ricky lloyd and the other one was dominkie something they were fighting over who was better in basketball how stupid is that. One said they were better in basketball than the other and instead of them taking a civil way of solving the problem and playing each other they get into a fight in the middle of a public basketball court. Ricky Lloyd left with a bloody mouth and the other kid had to be carred off the court it was some violent stuff. Over who is better at basketball. This case right here just shows how faliure to communitcate can result in violence and sometimes even deaths its horrible to see what is happening to the world these days. It wasnt even an improtant matter eveyone has there opinions and to kill each other over them is stupid.
