<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson will face questioning by lawyers for four people who are suing him over a July fight at a Washington bar, a federal judge said Tuesday. U.S. District Court Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle in Washington said Iverson can be deposed in the suit, possibly as soon as next month. She denied a defense motion to extend discovery beyond the end of this season, and set a May 10 date for a status conference. The suit claims the 30-year-old Iverson, league MVP in 2001, joined members of his security detail in attacking patrons and staff at the Eyebar in Washington, leaving one man with a concussion, a perforated ear drum and a damaged right eye. The suit seeks $20 million in damages. "We're amending the suit" to add the names of members of Iverson's entourage, Gregory Lattimer, a lawyer representing the plaintiffs, said in an interview. "We have suggested Dec. 2 as a possible date for the deposition and are waiting to hear back."</div> http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...ued_for_attack/
dang, this is just like the fight he had at the bollowing alley way back when. i hope he isnt found guilty for this, because if he is, then his image may take a turn for the worse.
It’s just a civil suit meaning its not like he is going to face any jail time, etc. To me it’s just another case of someone trying to get their fifteen minutes of fame. I mean come on 20 million dollars worth of injuries? Does this person look like Michael Jackson or what? What kind of injuries take 20 million dollars to repair?
