Well Iverson is going to start off cold, that's my guess. Since he hasn't played, and he doesn't seem to like practice. He'll be fine by the time 'Melo gets back, but then 'Melo will probably be cold for a few games. But then they will probably win out. Yuck...

Sounds like it'll be a good combo.

Very very poor decision by the Nuggets staff. Andre Miller, one of the best (if not the best) passer in the league; and he can score like crazy if wants to. Then they give up a former #1 pick AND TWO 1st round picks... smooth, very smooth. I've never seen a deal like this, where a team trades their "heart-and-soul" pass-first PG for a ballhog, while giving up two first rounders.

No, this should work well because if you look at international play and all-star games AI does great passing and sharing the ball. Its just with the Sixers he was the only good player on the team.

He might play well but the Sixers DEFINITELY got the better end of the deal.

    Melo and AI can't co-exist

when my dad heard about this trade, he asked me if the NBA is changing the rules to having two balls on the court at once. lol.nah, i think this is going to work marvelously for both sides. the nuggets are now a very powerful team, and i think AI and Melo will coexist brilliantly with each other.as for the sixers, andre miller is like Punisher said, a great passer, and those two first round picks will come in handy.the draft this year is one of the best ever they are calling it, and the sixers have 3 picks in the draft.good deal for both sides

Those 2 first round picks will be low unless I'm missing something. Not every draft has low round steals so basically those picks will end up being worthless. Andre Miller is quite overrated. He WAS one of the best passers. His career will keep going downhill. Who's he going to pass to? Noone on that team is a consistant scorer. They basically traded their franchise for a bunch of crap. Sure he can score but don't ask him to drop more than 20 a game.At least the Sixers should get the best shot at Greg Oden after this trade.

I don't ever want to hear the words overrated and Andre Miller in the same sentence. He's the best lob passer so the Sixers will do better with him. And he can easily score 20 a game. Plus, like iknobaer said, this draft will be very good, even in the second round.

The draft will be very good if every single underclassman jumps. But the likeliness of that happening is low.But you know that if college kids hear that they won't get picked at a certain point in the draft, they'll stay in college and continue to take booster money. The goal is to be a 1st round pick not to leave early and get picked in the 2nd round and get buried on the bench. This is a weak senior class with Aaron Gray only being the legit lotto pick. The rest are mostly late 1st-2nd round picks. You can't expect a team to get an Arenas every draft.Plus Andre Miller has never even been close to averaging 20 ppg. Sure, he had that amazing 01-02 16.5 ppg 10.9 apg season but he hasn't been close to duplicating that for awhile. This year has been pretty close but considering the talent around him, anything less would be a disappointment in the assist column.

Im not a basketball expert by any means, but that sounds like it'd make for a deeper draft pool then usual.

Go get a dictionary right now. Look up overrated, and you'll see Andre Miller.

Funny how much people on NFL boards know about the NBA. Go to any Sports site or NBA site and you'll get banned for saying Andre Miller is overrated. He might just be the most underrated player in sports.

Or you just overrate him yourself. You must not know much considering you haven't done anything to prove why he's not overrated. All you said is he can lob pass, and score 20 per game "if he wants to." Guess he has never wanted to during his career.

He's done nothing to prove that he could be considered "underrated".
