Allen Iverson To Miss Detroit Trip <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Allen Iverson will miss the Philadelphia 76ers' game against former coach Larry Brown's Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night because of a right knee injury. Iverson, the NBA's leading scorer at 29.4 points per game, didn't travel to Detroit with the 76ers. He banged his knee during a 93-90 victory over Miami on Friday. Aaron McKie will start in Iverson's place against Detroit. Iverson could have a full week between starts, because Philadelphia's next game isn't until Friday against Denver. </div> http://www.sportsline.com/nba/story/6905992 You guys are the Raptors of last season.Way too many injuries.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting allnet:</div><div class="quote_post">http://www.sportsline.com/nba/story/6905992 You guys are the Raptors of last season.Way too many injuries.</div> Unfortunatly. I dont know what, is it a curse. Here is what has been stated Derrick Coleman - out, left knee strain (game-time decision for 12/9 game at DET) Willie Green - out, right thumb strain (out for 12/9 game at DET)) Marc Jackson - out, left ring finger fracture (out for 12/9 game at DET) Allen Iverson - out, right knee hematoma (will not travel for 12/9 game at DET) Eric Snow - out, attending NBAPA Meeting (probable starter for 12/9 game at DET) (Eric will play, not injured!) And the others were Monty Williams Todd Macculoch and Glenn Robinson Nothing was said about him. Strange guy. I hope he plays tommorow night. Probably wont. That leaves us... (My prediction of Starters) C Dalembert PF Thomas SF Salmons SG McKie PG Snow ------------- Buckner McCaskill Korver And Glenn Robinson is unknown. Nine active players?! That is crazy! I dont know what the 76ers are going to do while that many players are out on the IL. Good luck 76ers tommorow night, we will need it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kvh4fan:</div><div class="quote_post">this freakin sucks</div> No kidding. I just was bored so simulated a game between the Pistons and the 76ers with updated rosters on NBA Live 2004. The score, 98-83. And yep you know who won it. THE PISTONS. Hope it would not turn out like that tommorow night. Team ball and defense is the key. Ben Wallace, who may be a defensive threat should not be scoring over 10 tommorow night. We need to contain him and especailly Rip and Chauncey. Chauncey and Rip are dangerous scorers, especially from the 3. If we get them into foul trouble, a key win is before us.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">With Iverson out for tonight's game, Philly is in trouble. </div> Dont swallow those words yet! Sixers are up 32-31 at halftime. I know its low-scoring game, but hey, we are dominating Larry and Co. without three expeceted starters for the season. (Iverson, Jackson, Robinson)
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">With Iverson out for tonight's game, Philly is in trouble. </div> No sir/ma'am, thank you for doubting us though!
I didn't see the game either, yes he got 29. Sixers without Iverson Robinson Jackson Yet Pistons still can't win the game? That truely is a joke.
Agreed. Every team has their bad nights. Look at the Nets and the Magic this season. They have continously had bad nights.

Bad nights must be all about the Magic. 2-19. I think Good Nights will be more rare this season for Orlando
Off topic, but Magic won last night against the Wizards 95-91. 3-19! They are getting somewhere.
