I dont know how Iverson will do this year. Igudola was only a rookie last year and I think he will excel with great intensity. How will this effect Iverson's stats?

At this point of his career I don't think stats are no longer important to him nor fans of his or the Sixers, winning is what's most important. But for the heck of it, I say his stat line will look somewhere to the likes of:

    PPG: 32.1
    RPG: 3.5
    APG: 7.3
    SPG: 2.3
    FG%: 43%
    3Pt%: 31%
    FT%: 84%
    TPG: 3.9

Outlook: Iverson will have as close as you can get to an identical season. I see him doing the same things he did this season next season. He's going to have his reigns of terror and he will have those cold streaks of games. But the only difference this time around is that I think his game will have more composure to his game which will lead to more consistency. I know he must have been looking at tapes of himself against the Pistons in film session and realizes how much better he plays when he keeps his composure and let the game come to him.

I say 27 and 8 a game, with Cheeks talking him into letting our young guys shoot more and Webber touch the ball more.

If that may be the case such as Cheeks turning him into more of a PG, A.I could be a double-double threat and it's not a stretch that he can average 26 and 10 next season. I would much rather see that then 30 and 8.

    My predictions-

    28.8 ppg
    8.6 apg
    4.1 rpg
    2.3 spg
    0.1 bpg
    40.9 mpg

    .419 fg percentage
    .310 3pt percentage

I see Mo Cheeks having a big influence on the way Iverson plays and the way the team plays. He'll probably have Iverson transition to more of a distributor. Mo Cheeks might be playing Iverson less in hopes of giving him rest, boosting Salmons trade value, or trying to develop Salmons. Either way, I see Iverson playing less- leading up to a drop in some of his stats. However, I'm hoping that this drop in stats might lead to a better success of the team.

Wow, you really think his PPG will go down by that much?

I think Iverson will have a season like the one he had the final season Larry Brown was here. He will have one that will be the most complete season of his career. I think he finally will have the pieces around him to allow him to distribute the ball more, and not have to focus on putting the ball in the whole like he did this season. Webber will be healthy, Igoudala is coming into his own, Korver will give him a safety valve which he can press anytime he wants, and Green will get more consistent minutes. I honestly feel that we have the pieces we need to make a run at having home court advantage in the playoffs. Though we have not added a big name player. We have brought in the perfect coach something we really have struggled to find since the departure of Larry Brown, and our team has improved as a whole. Webber will be two years removed from surgery on his knee, Igoudala is more mature, SD and the rest of the young players will have a better season, etc.

I also feel as though this teams missing piece was not a player it was a coach. Cheeks is familiar with this team, and has prior coaching experience unlike Ayers. He has proven he can coach well and be successful as a player?s coach. Like AI said ? if you cant play for Mo there is something wrong with you?. Am I saying they became a championship contender when we got Mo? Not necessarily, but I think a lot of factors have changed with this team, and do see them making a run in the post season this year. How far will they go? I don?t know. We will have to see.

    PPG - 25.6
    APG - 9.3
    SPG - 2.1
    FG% - 45%
    3pt% - 25%
    FT% - 77%

Mo Cheeks will try to turn Allen into more of a point guard rather then a scoring guard this season and you'll see it in his points per game and his passing numbers. Plus with all the talent around him now (Webber, Iguodala, and Dalembert) Iverson can't afford to take 30 shots a game like he did in the past.

Mo Cheeks will let AI what he wants to do, but Mo will also help in the PG spot, which he was once a specialty in, to help our running game more.

Guys I don't know if you noticed but Allen Iverson is not going to change his game and Mo Cheeks isn't going to try and make him. AI will continue to be his normal self, he is a scorer however you put it, and he is not Nash, Kidd, or Luke Ridnour. AI is AI and he will get his shots and points regardless. At the same time, you get better with age and Ai will probably focus on distributing a little more.

    29.5 ppg
    8.6 apg
    3 rpg
    2spg
    42%fg
    30% 3-point FG%
    86% ft

I honestly doubt that AI will average less than 27 points a game. He is a dominant scorer and that?s not really something you need to change, at the same time I think the other guys can get involved more if AI works on moving the ball around more. What I mean is, AI should continue to work on penetrating and kicking out, but he has to learn how to give the ball up earlier in the shot clock and maybe let the ball come to him at times. I mean when is the last time you have seen AI spot up for a shot just in plain day white open off of a pass from another Sixer? It happens rarely but needs to happen more.
