Terrible judgement on Redick's part. I guess he was sober enough to realize there was a traffic stop area, but taking a risk like this is idiotic. He recently cancelled his workout in Orlando, which could indicate he has a promise from a team in the top 10. I'm not sure how this affects his draft, if it does at all.
I doubt it effects it. It's nothing major to the extent of harming someone. It was potentially dangerous, but everything turned out to be ok and Redick ended up having a traffic violation. Hardly anything that should drop his stock.
It shouldn't effect him that much being that his record at Duke is clear. If this was a consistant thing for Redick then I can see his stock taking a bigger hit. I can see him drop 2 or 3 spots, but nothing huge.
Looks like the Blazers are probably going to draft him now. I love JJ, but I can't believe he did that, well I hope is stock does drop...at least far enough for the Bulls to snag him, JJ and Hinrich backcourt, sweet.
Well it looks like the Sonics won't be drafting him, since the owner wants "Model Citizens" on the team. I won't be surprised if they still do draft him. I don't want him on the Sonics...we need Foye.
I think the only team in the top 10 that could give him a gaurantee is Boston just because Ainge is so high on JJ. In the report it says he pulled out of the Orlando workout in the same way his teammate, Shelden Williams pulled out of workouts because of a promise from a top five team leading skeptics to believe that maybe redick also received a promise from a team selecting higher than Orlando. ^^ I agree with you, however when you are a high profile person about to enter probably the most important month of your career you probably should avoid ANY thing you might be scrutinized for... yes a case can be said about him being sober (he was cognisant enough to try to get out of that situation) but when you are under that microscope you have to be pristine in your actions...
