J.R. Smith in Pierce, Davis Charity All-Star Event

    The game was held to raise funds for the Baron Davis Foundation and the Paul Pierce Truth Foundation, which provide support for underprivileged inner city youth.

    Rickey Davis paced the Pierce All-Stars with 37 points, while Cutino Mobley added 25. Pierce scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

    Joe Johnson contributed 11 points, and Jason Richardson 10.

    The teams combined to shoot 106 3-point shots. Davis led both teams, converting 5 of his 17 attempts.

    Damon Jones scored 15 points for the Pierce team, with four assists. They outrebounded the Davis All-Stars 54-48.

    Davis scored 23 points to lead both teams in scoring at halftime but his team trailed 74-72.

    In a preliminary game played between athletes, actors and recording artists, the Baron team, led by Snoop Dogg and Terrell Owens, beat the Pierce team, paced by Reggie Bush and KiJana Carter, 50-42. </div>

    Scored 21 and had nine assists. But, that really doesn't mean anything during charity games, because they probably don't play defense. Both teams combined to shoot 106 threes!

    No surprise to see JR playing in a Davis charity game the two where very close during Baron’s time with the Hornets. Good to see he is keeping in shape during the summer, and playing basketball. Hopefully we can see him in some summer league games.

    Can someone tell me y i c JR Smith on the Denver Nuggets for some reason? lol.

    I really dont know y but i c this roster for the Nuggets next season.
